Druh\u00fd \u0159\u00e1d pokr\u00fdv\u00e1 rozsah vlnov\u00fdch d\u00e9lek 3660-5100 \u00c5 (tedy od bl\u00edzk\u00e9ho UV po modrou \u010d\u00e1st viditeln\u00e9ho sv\u011btla) a d\u00e9lka \u0159\u00e1du je 233 \u00c5. Prvn\u00ed \u0159\u00e1d pokr\u00fdv\u00e1 rozsah 5100-8900 \u00c5 (viditeln\u00e9 zelen\u00e9 a\u017e bl\u00edzk\u00e9 IR z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed) s d\u00e9lkou \u0159\u00e1du 470 \u00c5. Rozli\u0161en\u00ed spektrografu v oblasti Balmerova skoku je \u223c12 200 a v oblasti \u010d\u00e1ry H\u03b1\u00a0\u223c13\u00a0000. V p\u0159\u00edstroji je pou\u017eit CCD detektor PyLoN 2048x512BX (E2V 42-10 BX) s\u00a0rozm\u011brem pixelu 13.5 \u03bcm, kamera je chlazen\u00e1 tekut\u00fdm dus\u00edkem na pracovn\u00ed teplotu \u2212115\u00b0C. Prvn\u00ed \u0159\u00e1d umo\u017e\u0148uje zaznamenat \u010dervenou \u010d\u00e1st spektra v rozsahu od p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 5100 \u00c5 a\u017e do infra\u010derven\u00e9 oblasti.
