to the Ondrejov 2-meter Telescope Archive of Reticon Spectra Homepage!

Welcome to the home page of the Ondrejov Observatory 2-meter Telescope Archive of Reticon spectra. The Archive is based on the observation with 2-meter Telescope. The archive contains more then 4000 stellar spectra of mainly hot stars secured by the electronic detector Reticon installed in coude focus in 1992. Together with calibration exposures there is about 16600 Reticon frames. For each frame there is a preview picture produced by automatic reduction pipeline. Moreover, the preview of already fully reduced data is available as well.

Distribution Policy

The data from Reticon are in a specific binary format and for their reduction a special program SPEFO must be used and a lot of know-how. However, in case of your interest you may contact the staff of the Stellar Department on (archive@sunstel.asu.cas.cz). All the serious interest for the collaboration is welcome!

Reticon Archive

Remark: It is recommended to use code SPEFO for reduction of RETICON spectra. To get some information on raw data from the archive contact the archive administrator Petr Skoda (skoda@sunstel.asu.cas.cz).

The development of the archive was supported with the subvention by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (grant LB98251)

The author is indebted to Jim Lewis from RGO and Daniel Durand from CADC for giving their bright ideas and scripts the present version of archive is based on and to Sarka Zehnalova for converting original WDBI engine into Java servlets.
