At the beginning of October, the Astronomy Festival 2024 took place at the Brno Observatory and Planetarium, which summarised the development of Czech and world astronomy after 25 years. The Institute of Astronomy of the CAS participated in the preparation of the event and our director Michal Bursa accepted the patronage of the event. Many of our Institute’s staff also gave lectures at the event. A complete record of all the presentations on each of the three days is available (at this link).
