On Friday 6th October, as part of the European Researchers’ Night, a joint programme has been prepared in Ondřejov at the Observatory of the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Geodetic Observatory of the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography. The Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic has prepared an exceptional offer for the public, including a tour of the observatory, observation of the sky through telescopes, and above all, a tour of specialised departments and workplaces with explanations by scientists and observers. Employees of the Stellar Department also took part in the programme.
