The 13th international conference on X-ray optics in astronomy took place in Prague

An international meeting of experts dealing with X-ray astronomy – AXRO 2022 – took place in Prague from December 6 to 9, 2022, which was attended by a number of world-leading capacities in the field. The aim of the meeting was, among other things, to discuss the latest technologies for future X-ray satellites.

The organizer of the AXRO conference (International Workshop on Astronomical X–Ray Optics) is the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Czech Technical University in Prague. The international meeting took place in Vila Lanna (Prague). The conference was attended by 46 experts from 8 countries of the world who presented 36 contributions.
