On Friday, September 26, 2025, from 3 p.m. to midnight, the observatory, including the dome of the largest telescope in the Czech Republic with a mirror diameter of 2 meters, was once again open to the public as part of Researchers’ Night. In the afternoon, there was a program for children, and in the evening, two lectures were given, both by colleagues from the Stellar Department. The first presentation took place in the field, directly at the Cherenkov telescope, and was given by Dr. Martin Jelínek. The second lecture, entitled “Celestial Symphony or Sounds of the Stars,” was presented in the observatory library by Dr. Marek Skarka.
