The 16th annual international conference on X-ray optics in astronomy

From December 1 to 5, 2025, Prague hosted the 16th annual AXRO international conference organized by the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, which brings leading experts in the field of X-ray astronomy and X-ray optics to Prague every year. The meeting is traditionally held in the historic Villa Lanna. Among the most important contributions of this year’s conference were the results of Chinese scientists from the Einstein Probe space mission, as well as presentations of the latest developments in planned international missions, such as SMILE, NewAthena, THESEUS, and the Chinese eXTP.
