The workshop on observational techniques 2023 was organised in the period from 20 August to 1 September 2023 at the observatory in Ondřejov. Participants were 14 students from three universities: University of Potsdam in Germany, Charles University in Prague and Masaryk University in Brno.
The main organisers and coordinators of the workshop at ASU were Dr. Brankica Kubátová and Dr. Jiří Kubát. Mauricio Cabezas and Tiina Liimets, together with colleagues from the University of Potsdam, taught the students how to reduce spectroscopic and photometric observations made in Ondřejov. Jiří Srba, Miroslav Šlechta and Jan Kara taught students how to observe with 2m Perek and 0.65cm Mayer telescopes.
