A year has passed since the new PLATOSpec precise echelle spectrograph was installed on the E152 telescope at the La Silla Observatory in Chile (European Southern Observatory) in December 2024. On this occasion, scientists gathered to present the scientific results from the first year of operation, but also to discuss the role of similar instrumentation in the upcoming era of the PLATO and Ariel space missions.
